Test of English as a Foreign Language is a standardized test of English language proficiency test managed by ETS. The test is recognized by more than 10,000 colleges, universities, and agencies in more than 130 countries around the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. It can help get to the country you want to study. Since it was made internet-based it has witnessed considerable changes and progressively replaced Computer-based test (CBT) and paper-based test (PBT). TOEFL iBT was first introduced in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and Italy in 2005 in gradual phases, and then to the world over in 2006. The test is for four hours and it consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. Each section tests the English-language skill necessary for academic settings at the university level.
